Dr. Gillian Rainsberry BSc (Hons), BDS (London) MBA (OX)

Gillian provides a complete oral health service from her Lemon Street practice. Her dental surgery, which was recently modernised and refurbished, is equipped with the very latest in dental equipment and technology.

In addition to preventive care, Gillian performs a range of dental treatments such as prosthetic (dentures and bridges), endodontic therapy (root canal treatments), and periodontal therapy (treatment of gum diseases). She also treats complex cases, as well as surgically extracting third molars (wisdom teeth).

One of her specialties is in cosmetic dentistry using the latest methods and advanced materials, with the aim of improving the overall aesthetics of your smile. Common cosmetic dental procedures include teeth whitening, veneers, crowns, white tooth restorations.

Gillian qualified from University College Hospital Dental School, London (1986), following a Physiology Honours degree. She is a registered practitioner with extensive training and practical experience, and has been practicing at Lemon Street since 1996. Gillian gained her MBA in 2010.

Building on early career experience in Maxillofacial surgery in London and South Coast hospitals, she maintains her knowledge and professional standards by participating in Continuous Professional Development. Gillian is a member of The Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK), The Royal College of Surgeons of England and is currently doing an implant diploma with them.

Living in the Truro area, she has four children, and participates in a variety of activities, sports and hobbies in the local community.

A keen rugby supporter, she is also a dentist to the Cornish Pirates.
