Dental Background

I first started working at Truro Dental Care in 1975 as a 17-year-old school leaver where I worked for about 5 years and then left dentistry to pursue a different career in office management.

I then returned in 1999 to cover maternity leave and I am still here 21 years later!

In 2000 I gained my qualification with the National Examining Board of Dental Nurses and this followed in 2001 with my Dental Radiography qualification.

I have worked with Dr. Martin Edwards for over 20 years and I feel we make a pretty good team as we both have the same attitude to dentistry and to our patients.  We are very fortunate in this practice; in that we have great patients who have remained with us for many years and who we now view as friends. Of course, it is always great to see new faces and that is my favourite part of my job – the interaction with the patients.

Core Values

  • Patient care is priority

  • Keeping standards high

  • Ensuring the surgery runs smoothly and efficiently

Certifications

  • NEBDN Certificate in Dental Nursing – 2000

  • NEBDN Certificate in Radiography – 2001

After years of anxiously neglecting my teeth, I took the plunge to see Dr. Rainsberry.   She’s very caring and compassionate, gentle and human! Does a great job – I have recommended the surgery to my support group for autistic people who also struggle in medical environments. I will be a repeat visitor until my teeth are at optimum.
